Soldier Turned Songstress
Nancy J. Davis spent 20-years in the US Army retiring as a field grade officer earning the rank of major. She served in hostile fire zones during overseas deployments. Nancy has been singing for over 50-years. Nancy is also a first-generation American-Hungarian from Long Island, New York. She is now living in Georgia with her family. She currently sings at local restaurants, private lunches, dinner parties, movie set productions, senior living communities, corporate events, weddings, and other similar venues. Nancy’s sultry vocals are known to have graced the favorite restaurants of Georgia such as “Il Porto Di Venizia” (Senoia), "City Cafe" (Fayetteville), "Borgo Italia", (Peachtree City) and "Tour de Italy", (Fayetteville). Nancy is very popular as an entertainer in Georgia among senior living communities such as "Arbor Terrace", "Somerby", and "Legacy Ridge" (formerly Heritage) all in Peachtree City, GA.

Nancy sings to licensed pre-recorded “purchased by permission“ music. She entertains in a 3x3 space typically blending into a venue as ambiance, but upon request, she engages with people with her cordless microphone, It’s all up to you. She brings a speaker, a microphone, and a music stand. Her compact set-up makes her a convenient resource for any entertainment venue’s needs. Nancy’s sultry vocals will have you thinking you’re listening to a recording.

Nancy. has been passionate about music since childhood. Growing up in New York City and on Long Island, Nancy learned to cultivate her voice singing at any chance. This led to a love for singing and songwriting, Nancy, while in the US Army, would be asked by small local piano bars to fill-in for performers who couldn’t fulfill their commitment. Nancy was also asked to sing the National Anthem on my occasions for ceremonies in the military. When she retired, many who heard her sing recommended she should sing professionally. She never thought of it, but trusted her friends opinions. She is now learning piano, trumpet, and guitar.

Nancy has performed at a range of venues, from small coffee shops to large music festivals. Nancy's live shows are known for their energy and audience engagement but they are also relaxing, Nancy’s favorites are The Carpenters, Gloria Estefan, and Ella Fitzgerald.

In addition to writing and performing music, Nancy is also experienced in music production. With a home studio setup, Nancy can provide high-quality recordings and production services for streaming performances, as some may not be able to leave their homes. She does this predominately for the elderly in her community and has cultivated it during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
